On Wednesday, March 9th the Martial Arts American Tour Flying Masters from China will be in Beavercreek, OH.
The Dayton Association of Chinese Americans in association with Meng's Martial Arts is sponsoring an exciting demonstration team from China that is going to be in Dayton next week.
The team was originally only going to stop in Columbus but we've negotiated to get them here in Dayton. Time is of the essence and this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for all students, family and friends. The tour organizers weren't sure about the level of martial arts interest in Dayton so now's our chance to open up their eyes. Meng's Martial Arts has decided to cancel Adult Evening classes in Huber Heights, Beavercreek, and Centerville so that all our students can attend this demonstration! Now's your turn - tell everyone you know about this exciting demonstration! It's going to be at the Beavercreek High School Field House - which holds about 2000 people. Let's see what we can do together to pack the house! If you know anyone that likes Martial Arts, has been curious about Martial Arts, or even someone that likes to see incredible feats of the human body, this is the event for them.
The Chinese Martial Arts Flying Masters American Tour includes champions in World, National, and Regional martial arts competitions. The team has astonished American audiences with their spectacular Kung Fu skills. This will be their first (and only!) show in Dayton.
Demonstrations include:
Single Finger Stand (A hand stand on one finger - a special skill of Southern Shaolin!)
Fist Board Breaking
Foot Board Breaking
Palm Nail Striking (Kids: Don't Try This At Home!!!)
Breaking an Iron Bar over the Head (Kids: This one, too!)
Main Program:
Southern Fist Northern Leg
Breaking a metal plate with the head
Boy Kung Fu (Kids: you will want to see this - one of China's best kids is performing. You'll be amazed!)
1 & 2 Finger Zen Composition
Tai Qi
Long Tassel Sword, Paired Swords
Board splitting with fist and feet
Drunken Fist, Drunken Swordsman
Striking a nail with the palm
Dueling Daggers, Sparring Swords
