...Because you think your judgments of me and my Sifu affect us, and I have to prove otherwise? LOL, think again. Were doubts exists, the need to prove arises. NO such doubt exists, concerning your feeling towards my lineage or me.

So once again, please feel free to expose your real self and insecurities, for everyone to see. It's actually unreal how agitated you are getting towards this discussion and your need to prove your theories and ideals, and your intensity to discredit myself & the lineage I belong to. This is a internet forum and in all respects meaningless, but you take it so seriously that one has to think in a real life situation and confrontation you would lose total control and objectivity when faced with a possible self defense situation. Rather than walk away I think you would gladly accept the challenge to gratify the ego you continue to exhibit to all who read this thread.

Remember..., YOU SHALL EXERCISE YOUR UTMOST TOLERANCE AND CONSIDERATION IN DEALINGS WITH PEOPLE AND GENERAL MATTERS IN AND OUTSIDE OF THE ACADEMY....

Remember also, the focus of this thread is concerned with the so called problems of the Wing Chun system and Solutions you put forth, to which are not really of Global importance, but more along this lines of something people think about as a hobby, so therefore personal insults towards others with differing opinions would not really be warranted in a discussion of such little relevance & importance in today's world. But if you must, keeping on digging that hole.....James, I believe you and I have an understanding. This sense of objectivity and practicality is a good reality check.

Earlier this Saturday, I had a discussion with a couple of my sihingdai about the recent activity on this forum, and the politics common in many forums. I'd like to share what was discussed...

Empty internet attacks should be ignored.

Personal attacks against organizations and lineages must be defended. Honor, reputation and integrity should be upheld.

Disrespect must be balanced and neutralized to be respected.

Passive resistence doesn't always work when trying to keep things civil.

Showmanship is the craft of warriors.

It is natural to reflect the energy people give you. When you just can't take anymore, then don't take it.

These things are not for everyone. It is a personal choice one makes to get involved in these things. But for our own people, the battles we fight here are one they don't have to. And they can train in peace, without political games.

Yes, agreed on all points Savi. I really do not enjoy the forums that much when I have to defend myself and my Sifu to someone who has no clue as to what we are all about. Yeah, I realize that differences of opinion will happen and that is okay but when someone makes statements about their instructor and then about their personal integrity and skill, this draws the line in the sand and something has to be done, but physcial violence is not the way also. Trying to understand one another better is the key and personal interaction is sometimes the only way. I applaud Victor P. for his intensity in his training methodology and commitment to that task, but really is it worth calling people names and such when one doesn't agree with you? I don't think so, and I try to display a attitude of moderation in my posts, and understanding of all who visit the forums and try to learn about this great Martial Art of ours called Wing Chun.
