Dragon in chicago

Would anyone hear know of Dragon style being taught here in chicago. I know its alot to ask just wondering if anyone might be able to help. Thanks

I wish I could help you out. Some time ago i heard of an underground martial arts club that taught Dragon or as they called it Green Dragon in NY but I can confirm or deny it.

I also have heard of a Sifu from China teaching Dragon style in San Francisco but again I haven't confirmed that also.

Have you practiced it before or just curious?

My grandfather practiced Dragon Style but he passed away when I was very young so I had never got the chance to learn it from him.

Hi Savi. I would say I live Northside. I am pretty much close to everything. Down town is 15 mins away and everything is pretty fast to get to if theres no traffic. Is this persone familiar with Ho Lung Pai by any chance?

Hi Sauchi. No I dont study Lung Ying. But I have always been interested in it. Green Dragon Society(if this is the same) still exists but they dont teach Lung Ying. I have a training partner who was a longtime student there. Did your mom or dad recieve any lung ying training?

I currently study Tong Long. At the time when I left the post I was new and the training area was in turmoil of closing. It did eventually close. In a way it was an excuse to search for Lung ying. Now after a little over a year after sticking with it through the ups and downs we are now stable. Right now Im very happy where Im at. But I would still be ecstatic to experience some Lung ying.
