I joined a while back. My name is Mike. I'm one of the instructors at Universal Self Defense in Port Neches. I help the owners in return for round-the-clock access to the gym.

I trained in Karate (1st BB) with Wayne Guidry, BJJ with Pat Hardy and Lameco Eskrima and Poekoelan Tjimindie with John Daigle.

I hope that one day I can get over to the Houston club for a clinic provided they're open to outsiders.

Although I train HFY here in beautiful Arizona most of my family is either from Port Arthur or Marksville.

Your list of experiences suggest you are always open to new things. My experience with Ryan Sifu from Houston suggest he is the the same way and I am sure he would be glad to sit down over tea and discuss his experience and yours and find that common ground.
