Just wondering since TWC claims to be the only true Yip Man system secretly handed down to William Chueng only and all the other wing chun was taught wrong on purpose. Does TWC full contact fight and if so after all these years there should be atleast one video that we can see.

Rick Spain fought full contact and he was one of Cheung's top guys back in the day, early 80's and such. Aparently he also has a successful kickboxing record also...Don't know why there aren't many others, probably because Wing Chun (whether or not it is TWC or any other lineage) is meant for streetfighting and reality combat, not sport.....

Most martial arts were designed for self defence, but people like to see their stuff work so they adapted it for the ring.
There are many arts that use elbows eye thrust and throat chops and make theirs work in the ring. Even in the ufc they use elbow to the head. Cung lee makes his deadly art work in the ring and wins. Rick Spain relied on his kickboxing skills in the ring because TWC is not a very good art for street or ring. Its a good money maker because of William Cheung and bruce lee. TWC has terrible footwork and the way train is just pathetic no real conditioning what I have seen in michigan the Master and provisional master have big fat bellies and run out of breath very fast. I think there are some that do not want it known that Brian learned as fast as he did because if it took them 20 years to learn makes them look bad as we call it player hating.

Himself from what I understand. But I also understand that in Chinese tradition, the student with the most knowledge is the next one to take over from the retired or deceased master, therefore if William Cheung learned both versions of WC (Chan Wah Shun and Leung Bik versions, what Cheung calls Modified and Traditional), then he would be considered to have the most knowledge. One of the guys on the KFO forum related that his first Kung Fu instructor was with William Cheung back in the early early 70's and that when Yip Man died, Cheung started to teach a different version of the WC that he had been teaching up to that time. That would backup the story Cheung relates, that Yip Man made him swear a oath to keep it all a secret until he died. Also Bruce Lee said Cheung was quite the fighter also, as well as Moy Yat. All of this must mean something.
As for TWC being a lousy MA, I have to disagree. It is mostly misunderstood, and quite frankly not taught to such a high degree of quality I think. My Sifu studied WSL style WC and then TWC, and we use mostly TWC in our kwoon with improvements my Sifu has made to the system. IMO Cheung is a business man, and wants to promote his system as much as he can, that is his provocative. This does not mean TWC sucks or is uneffective, because it is not.
Take a look at that Ving Tsun Museum tapes from 1999 when all the Yip Man seniors got together in Hong Kong. Most of them demo'd and IMO Cheung looked the most impressive out of all of them. You can see the difference. Some of them IMO looked lousy, and real pathetic.
