The centreline is guarded whenever possible in TWC and is utilised to great effect when doing freestyle chi sau. I have found with other WC styles that they collapse bon sau's into elbows etc and attempt to attack through the central line or outside as this can appear to be the only option.
I have found in both instances that the ability of the WC practitioner generally determines the outcome of the chi sau.
I have three questions:
1) do you train chi sau as semi contact or non contact
2) do you consider a blow to the stomach/torso a "fight ender" for the purpose of resetting, or if you hit my stomach and then I hit your head - who would you consider to of won:confused:
3) do you wait for a reaction in chi sau or simply attack to provoke a response/finish the fight?(predominantly) :boxing:
Look forward to peoples responses....
Sorry it's a little off topic from bagging TWC I hope this isn't too constructive:D
