Hello Armin,
That was indeed interesting but I was wondering if you could provide us with the background details since the Alliance is probably a more well known org. in Europe more so than the U.S.

Hi Cang Long,

yes, of course. Originally, the WMAA was an organisation of former EWTO-Latosa-Escrima-students. They got involved in the whole 'Alliance-thing' because of Steve Tappin (?), a master-student of Bill Newman, the head of the EWTO-Escrima-branch. Steve Tappin got a member of the Alliance as 'big chief of Escrima'. HJR, being both WT- and Escrima-teacher, got member of the WMAA and tried to force his carreer in this organisation, as it seems.

So, in short:
Sergio Iadarola -> WT in the Alliance
Steve Tappin (with his WMAA) -> part of the Alliance teaching Escrima.
