New California Wing Chun Association Represents the Martial Art throughout the State

San Clemente, CA - January 21, 2006 -- Representing the martial art of Wing Chun throughout California, the California Wing Chun Association (CWCA) is a networking organization of schools and associations throughout the state.

Before the establishment of the California Wing Chun Association, Wing Chun had no formal community structure outside the separate lineages and families scattered throughout the state.

The CWCA represents many lineages, families and Wing Chun styles within the Wing Chun community and promotes Wing Chun events within the state of California. Although it is not a governing association overseeing associations, it also represents and promotes the martial art in its many names including ving tsun, wing tsun, weng shun, hung fa yi and many more.

Upcoming events throughout the California Wing Chun community can be found on the CWCA website. There are also a ldirectory listing of California Wing Chun schools available.

Thanks for the interest. As a matter of fact there are plans to do that. I'll be glad to send you more info offline if you'd like. We've gathered all the articles for the first edition of the magazine and plan on debuting it in February.
