Hello all
Why are there variations in the sets of the dummy form ?.
Example: DVD (Sigung/Sifu E. Oram), Video (Sigung/Sifu J. Saya), Sigung in 1980's and Sigung's wooden dummy poster (colour) etc
The sets are not in the same order, some sets have extra movements others have less and footwork also varies.
I understand, all movements comply to WC principals and each has an "Instructors licence" to vary movements.
My concern is uniformity within the WWCKFA in particular to aviod confusion and questioning amongst its followers, simply by traveling 20km the sets are not the same.
Variations are also evident in the Chum Kil and Bil Gee form.
I don't loose sleep over this and I learn the various variations as the movements are only training tools and this only adds to my repotior however to the student who wishes to learn which version should he/she follow and why?.
Thank you for your thoughts
