View Full Version : Baak Mei's Bridging Methods?
Can anyone help me out? I'd like to learn of some of your experiences with this kung fu system. What are you learning from it at the moment, and in particular, can you tell me about how Baak Mei Kiu Sau Faat (bridging arms methods) is used?
What have you found from it to be most effective from your experience?
Thanks in advance.
Savi.

I have just received a copy ofMaster Zhang Luo's new DVD on Bak Mei and Lung Yen. (http://www.undergroundkungfu.com). It's a long seminar with lots of forms and there's a chapter on Kiu Sau (Bridge Arms). I have not watched it entirely yet for I had not enough time, but I guess the techniques Master Luo presents are more like blocking exercises with the forearm (shapes), as in Hung Kuen, nothing like HFY's Kiu Sau.
Well, I've only been exposed to HFY's Faat Sau Kiu Sau and I'm not a Bak Mei/Lung Yen practitioner, so I cannot speak much on this theme.
Best regards,

Hi Marcelo!
can you give us a little more details of how the bak mei and lung ying kiu sao drills are performed in the kiu sao chapter as well as the idea or concept behind them?
Thanks
