we plan two seminars in Orlando, Florida from January 4th-11th, 2004.

Seminar 1: January 4th - January 11th:
everybody is welcome for this intensive seminar with me, weng chun base level instructor certification is possible, you can enjoy freesparring and chi sao/kiu sao with me.

Seminar 2: public weekend seminar January 10th and January 11th

Private lessons: January 4th-January 9th:
you can choose a topic.


Topics for all seminars:

on the one hand basic and advanced internal weng chun "Ging" methods and on the other hand free sparring with me, combat exercises and streetsmarts.

1. Fa Kuen and the second form of weng chun for Chi Sao ("touch and feel")
2. Most other martial arts styles waist movements are restricted to turning the body to the left and right. I like invite you to learn to use your waist in a full 360° movement and how to develop waving power and pulsing energy in all dimensions.
This has two immense benefits: The first is the many possible combat applications (Groundfighting, throws etc.). The second aspect is the tremendous benefit for your internal organs and for your muscles, tendons, nerves and joints.
3. Total combat: learn to use weng chun against strikers and grapplers
4. streetsmarts: learn to deal with "dirty tricks"
5. chisao and kiu sao
6. Man follows the Earth. Earth follows Heaven. Heaven follows the Dao. Dao follow what is natural.(Tao Te Ging)
What is the nature of your movement ? What is the nature of your mind? Learn to feel the connection between martial art and chan.

I have to, just have to know: What is the round-a-bout figure for cost that one should expect to spend for this trip? With time running short (about a month and a half left), I'd like to see if this will be feasible for me.

If anything, maybe we can somehow arrange another AZ workshop again with Grandmaster Hoffman sometime in 2004 also? All this excitement [I think] shows great promise for the future of our kung fu family!

My family will leave Germany on December 24 and we spent some holidays at clearwater bay.
