Any Info on Choy Lay Fut Kui Sao

One similarity of most Southern Kung Fu systems is that they have a training method/techniques called Kui Sao (Bridge Hand). I am a Hung Fa Yi Wing Chun practioner and within our system we have Kui Sao, Chi Kui training and harmonizing both creates our chi sao to simply state. I would like to know if you have this terminalogy and trainng method. If so is it trained more for external condtioning? Or senitivity? Or for a certain range?
