Hello all of my martial arts brothers and sisters,
I am new to this forum and also to kung fu. I previously studied TKD for 3 years but always feel more drawn toward Chinese kung fu. So I am finally going to start learning.
I found this clip while browsing (forgive me if it has been posted here before, but I am new). Until now, I had only seen Wing Chun "sticky hands" videos but never how Wing Chun is done in sparring/combat situation. I always read that Wing Chun is "not pretty, designed for use on the street" and now I finally saw it in action!

The man doing WC in the video clip is clearly an expert. From my own experience of training at different Tae Kwon Do schools, it is not easy to find one that teaches real life practical training, and most teach with the intention of competing for trophies.
I would like to ask some advice: I have read there are several different lineages and even styles (which surprised me) of Wing Chun. Is there are any particular lineage that is known for stressing the practical application such as shown in the video? Or do all of them follow similar methods of training?
