There are many different syles and systems of fighting available.
I personally would like to engage in friendly matches someday with these various styles. I am particularly interested in trying my hand against a choy la fut guy someday when I am comfortable enough with my own skill. the reason only because I read somewhere that WC guys and CLF guys used to do this on the roof tops in china all the time. but I never read what the outcomes were or how the differences in each showed when engaged.

My question is what style grabs your interest and why?

When I was very young in my kung fu I engage in such a friendly little "fight club" with some friends. Actually, I had been doing it since before my KF training began, it was the thing that drove me to look for a system without so many flaws and hitches that I found I could expose in my friends, and that led me to kung fu, more specifically wing chun.

Personally, I'm interested in the styles I still haven't had much experience with, mostly northern shaolin styles, and the relatives of wing chun (hung ga, lao ga, Choi Lay Fut, etc)

I'd like to see where the split in between systems in each temple occured, aka when northern shaolin and southern shaolin stopped acting alike.
