It's about time, space and energy

Lately, I've been very busy with the school and Wing Chun - family as well, getting ready for the new arrival.

Yesterday, Saturday April 17th, Sunmi gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Spencer Fan Rong Meng. He was 7 lbs., 10 oz., hairy and healthy.

After Simo had Vincent through natural childbirth (no drugs) I gave respect to all women of the world. This time, I give respect to Simo for her martial arts skills. She pushed three times and out came Spencer (and again, natural childbirth). Of course, I did help a little bit with Qigong to help ease the pain. He has a healthy set of lungs and he's quite active.

I will keep you guys up-to-date but right now I have to get ready to bring my family home from the hospital.

PS - thanks to those that came and volunteered for the Spring Cleaning. We'll do a special workshop, free of charge for all of you.

Hats off as always to Simo. Having been with my wife during the birth of our daughter, I must say what an incredible strength and dedication to purpose women have. As Sifu implied in the title of his announcement, the space, time, and energy considerations involved in the pregnancy and birth process is truly awe inspiring. You really have to experience it to believe it.

We would like to send a warm "welcome home" to Spencer from the Kalish family in Rochester. We are all looking forward to meeting you!
