Saam Mo Kiu and it's relationship to Tin Yan Dei
Recently in class we have been working on San Sau drilling. The inherrant freedom of the San Sau form is highly conducive to analysis, as it clearly demonstrates errors in form, structure, and energy. Fellow students can show their own true knowledge by closely watching eachother perform and critiquing eachother. Self-awareness and humbleness is gained by one's acceptance of this critical analysis and of his/hers own wandering state.
One could sleep through life thinking they were a butterfly, until they woke up, and realized they were human. Or one could question the reality of this awakened existence and suspect that this is in fact the dream. Through the teaching of the TAO and the attainment of true focus, we are truly able to wake-up.
