As many know, my training has dropped off because of schooling, but I am so angcius that the excitment has caried over into my dreams. Understanding the values of HFY I truly look forward to this opertunity in train under the supervition of the GrandMaster and his dedicated students that share in GM Gee's goals. So pre thanks to the Hung Fa Kwoon of SF (HeadQuarters) in there indevors to preserve the system.

One of the main focuses of this seminar will be on HFY Kiu Sau and it's stand-up anti-grappling applications.
Seminar attendees will be taught how Tin Yan Dei strategies are employed within the Faat Sau Kiu Sau learning progression.
This will be a great opportunity for WC MA's from other lineages to learn how HFY Kiu Sau has a completely different nature to that of long range chi sau, and is much more than simply long arm bridging.
We hope to see you there.

:( It is with the most heavy heart that I have to miss this Seminar. It will be the first that I have missed and I do hope it to be the last. It seems that I could not talk my God son from getting married on that weekend. So I will have to travel 4 hours north east of the kwoon. I had told my mother that I would have to miss the wedding because there was a Seminar but she gave me that look so I am going to to the wedding instead. It seems at 36 that my mom can still bend me with the look:D . So, in short I do apologize to my Sifu and to Si Tai Gung Gee. I know that I will be missing one of the greatest of learning weekends but I know that I will make up from the information from my brothers and sisters that will be there in attendance.

I'm looking forward to an awesome time with all of my extended kung fu family. We're very thankful for sitaigung to take the time out of his schedule to come to our state and teach us. I'm sure this seminar will have about 4 or 5 months worth of learning all compressed into a weekend - I'm starting to get psyched about it. I'd like to plan to get up to SF this year sometime too.
Regards,
For any out-of-towners from the HFY family, Rose and I are welcoming and very open to having up to three (3) guests stay at our house for the seminar weekend. We have a bed in the guest bedroom, a futon in the loft, and a full-size hideaway bed in our living room.
Any takers? Save you a couple of bucks for room and board... ;)
Also,
I ask that any students from the AZ kwoon post if they are open to assist in "housing" our extended family members.
I am requesting a roster of the attendees from CA, OH, MO, NY & TX (I think these are all the states we have members in). I am currently arranging for pick-ups and deliveries to and from the Skyharbor Airport. Any out-of-usa attendees please contact the AZ kwoon for transportation as well (480-820-2428).
AZ students are to contact me if they can assist in bringing our family members home safe to MengsofAZ, or their housing/hotel arrangements if need be... or a restaurant if they are hungry ;)!
Please contact me at the kwoon or by cell phone to place an order ASAP!

Due to private matters I'm not able to come to Chandler for the seminar. Initially I was planning to attend, and really, really looking forward to it.
I'm sorry that I can't join my kungfu family . . .
Perhaps somewhat later this year or next year.

Ben,
Sorry to hear you won't be able to make the trip this time. You will certainly be missed.
Ben, I am sad to hear you are not going to be able to make it. But, you do what you have to do! Ye Ben De Man! I will be thinking about you.
I still need to know if and who from the AZ kwoon will be aiding in the transportation of our out of town guests. I have had no responses for this as of 09-08-04. Even if you cannot help from the dates of:
09-16 to 09-15
Please let me know ASAP.
Thank you Mark J and Shawn M for volunteering your services and letting me know wazzup with assisting during the seminar.
Are there any other students that can assist this Friday - Sunday?
We will also need assistance in cleaning up the school before and after each seminar session this weekend. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated!

All,
We are just a few days away for the visit to the Hung Fa Kwoon in Chandler, Arizona. One of the feature topics will be the introduction of the four and a half point Kiu Sao in the progression of the Kiu Sao training.
I, personally, am looking forward to spending the weekend with my kung fu family.

SBGA, JK and I will be at the airport to welcome you to AZ again.
For all, from the information I have received for those attending from out of town, lodging and transportation arrangements have been finalized. Thanks to those who are assisting.
