Hi Marcelo! Would you be able to translate any part of it in English for me? I would be very appreciative :). Or at least share the basics of what it says?
How is it in Brazil this time of year?
Thank you,
-Savi.

Savi,
The III VTM workshop, centered in HFYWCK, will be twofold: 1st part in Rio; 2nd in Sao Paulo.
In Rio, we'll be hosted by the Northern Shaolin Association and its kind Sifu, Luiz Pessanha (of GM Chan Kwok Wai's Kung Fu family), who will open the event with a demonstration of Shaolin forms + self-defence techniques as a homage to Sifu Meng.
In Sao Paulo, we'll be hosted by Sifu Li Hon Ki, of Sifu Duncan Leung's Kung Fu family, who will speak of and show something about GM Ip Man's Wing Chun, right before Sifu Meng starts showing the Hung Fa Yi stuff. It was Sifu Li Hon Ki who first brought Wing Chun to South America, as far back as 1979.
I'm personally involved with the organzation of the workshop this time, and hope it will be a huge success.
It's raining right now. We're having hot days, though.
Best wishes,
Marcelo

That sounds like fun and exciting times ahead for everyone involved. I look forward to an in depth review from some of the participants and some nice pictures as well. So from your previous background and the previous workshops how are you relating to and growing in your Hung Fa Yi experience personally thus far Marcelo?

Marcelo,
Congrats on your successful workshop! Since your HFY club is part of the International HFY Federation... In the future, you can send all workshop info to Hungfakwoon.com (attention William E or Allen Kong) That way we can post it on the World Federation HFY website.
And of course any translations you offer, would greatly be appreciated.
Regards,
Alex

Cang Long and Duende,
Sorry for taking some time to reply, but I've been out of town for a couple of days.
Well, Cang Long I guess this time my personal HFY experience will grow more than it did so far. With the interest of the Northern Shaolin sifu and his students, it's very probable that we will finally have a suitable space to train more constantly and people will be certainly more involved. But yes, HFY suited me pretty fine and replaced my previous Wing Chun experience, maybe due to my Hung Ga and Choy Lee Fut background.
And Duende, I'll keep the HFY headquarters updated about the next events - thank you for offering us such an important tool.
I've already sent some translations to Sifu Allen. After all... those texts on the HFK website that were supposed to be in Portuguese simply are not!
Take care,
Marcelo

Marcelo,
Thank you for the "correct" translation to the articles. We will make the appropriate changes in the next few days. How are things in Brazil? I look forward to visiting again in the near future.

Dear Brothers,
After an intensive three-days seminar in the Northern Shaolin Association of Rio de Janeiro (2 public, 1 for HFY-students only), Sifu Meng departed yesterday morning to Sao Paulo, where another workshop was held, this time at the school of Sifu Marcio Silva, of GM Duncan Leung's family.
Sifu came back to Rio yesterday night and today we, HFY students, had another training session with him, until his time in Brazil ran out.
Sifu Meng caught his plane to the US at 8h10min PM (Rio time), and left all of us (again) with that impression that we found such a great treasure in the Hung Fa Yi system.
